The Heart Beats Children’s Society of Calgary is a grass roots charitable organization comprising and serving the community of families and professionals caring for all children born with congenital heart defects and disease.

On behalf of children living with CHD, we lobby at a systems level, institutionally, municipally, provincially and federally.

Always in grass roots service to children and families affected by CHD, we are committed to:

• Compassionate personal support
• Childhood, adolescent and family outreach
• Discreet financial support where other financial resources are unavailable
• Access to information, education and entertainment

By actively engaging the feedback of the community we serve, we will continuously monitor and refocus our effectiveness as a service organization for the community of CHD-affected children and their families.

In response to their evolving needs, we shall continue assuring the financial viability of Heart Beats by pursuing ongoing sources of funding and charitable givings.
